ACTTiVAte Logo

The Technology Partners Foundation - as the only Polish partner - participates in the international ACTTiVAte (PAn-European Clusters for Technology Transfer and new VAlue chains) project, whose main objective is to provide organisational and financial support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), that seek to use technology in other than the core market. The ACTTiVAte project is realised within the EU Horizon 2020 Framework Programme by a consortium of 12 organisations from Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands and Poland, all representing sectoral SME clusters in fields of: Aerospace, Agri-food, Health and ICT.

The overall concept of the ACTTiVAte project is to support innovation in SMEs and foster the smart reindustrialization of Europe. This will be achieved by enabling the emergence of new cross-border and cross-sectoral value chains resulting from the transfer of advanced technologies among selected sectors with strong synergies. The project will foster cross-sectoral innovation among SMEs from four different sectors: Aerospace, Agri-food, Health and ICT.

ACTTiVAte will undertake 2 kinds of activities to optimize the benefits to SMEs:

  • Direct funding of innovative SMEs projects: selected projects will receive an amount of up to EUR 46.000 each from the total of EUR 1,5 million designated for direct funding activities;
  • Business Support Services: a wide range services provided by ACTTiVAte for selected SMEs including: brokerage and B2B matchmaking events, mobility and exchange program.

On the 1st of June the ACTTiVAte call for proposal platform has been opened:

The Project is in particular directed towards SMEs. Direct funding is designed for projects that aim to facilitate technology transfer within four areas: Aerospace, Agri-food, Health and ICT.
